Betty L. Ketchum, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed peacefully at the age of 96 on April 28, 2026, to be with her Lord. She was born in 1930 in Leonard, Oklahoma to Floyd Calvin Tinkel and Jessie Lee Parker.
She graduated from Bixby High School, where she met and married Carl "Ducky" Ketchum. They lived around the Tulsa area and had two sons, Timothy and Christopher, until they built their home in 1962 in south Broken Arrow, where they lived the remainder of their lives.
Betty is remembered for her servant's heart, as demonstrated through her family life and service in the church. She played the piano and led music at several churches during her life. She loved to garden and was an incredible painter. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and knitting for herself and her family.
Betty was proceeded in death by her husband, parents, brothers and sisters, and is survived by her sons and their wives, Gail and Carla.She had six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and extended family and friends. Her service will be at Schaudt's Funeral Home in Glenpool on May 5, 2026 at 1:00 pm. We will miss her greatly.
