Barbara Jean Sweet

Barbara Jean Sweet, age 48, passed away on December 25, 2021 in Tulsa, OK.

Barbara was born on August 29, 1973 in Tulsa, OK to Dana and Janet Leech. She grew up in Tulsa and graduated from East Central High School in 1991. She was a sales administrator at Avis Budget Group for 29 years. She had several hobbies, including scrapbooking, making jewelry, and traveling. Barbara loved spending time outdoors and she was an excellent photographer. She loved taking pictures of friends and family. You could also say that Barbara was somewhat of a "foodie", as she loved trying new foods.
Her favorite color was green and she was very passionate about watching Saturday Night Live and Ru Paul's Drag Race.

Barbara was a devout Lutheran and enjoyed attending Church and leading youth group trips. She will be remembered as being friendly and outgoing. She enjoyed serving others and was always available to lend a helping hand, offer advice, or just provide a listening ear. Barbara was a wonderful mother and loved her children more than anything in the world.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Fields and Gene Newcomb, her furbabies; two cats, Desi and Bobo and one dog, Sadie.

Barbara is survived by her father, Dana Leech; her mother, Janet Leech; a son, Noah Sweet and his wife Tiffany Phillips and daughter, Chloe Sweet, siblings; Charles Leech and Andrea Leech, and her cat "Rat", in addition to many close friends and relatives.
