Ashton Meyer

December 20, 2001 — September 3, 2025

With broken hearts and cherished memories, we announce the passing of Ashton Scott Meyer, age 23, who left this world far too soon on September 3, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Ashton was born on December 20, 2001, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, the beloved son of Travis Meyer and Susan Crow. From the very beginning, Ashton lit up every room he entered - with his piercing blue eyes, golden blonde hair, and a smile so full of life, it could brighten even the darkest day.

He was a true original - a lovable teddy bear of a man with a heart as big as the Oklahoma sky. He never met a stranger, and once you knew him, you never forgot him. He had a gift for making people laugh, especially when giving his brother Crosby a hard time. His footsteps were never quiet - those "Fred Flintstone feet" could always be heard coming down the hall.

Ashton had an adventurous spirit, a lead foot, and a passion for speed - whether behind the wheel or chasing his next adrenaline rush. He was known for his hard work and for never turning down a meal (especially if it came with a cold Dr. Pepper). He loved video games, a good joke, and all things simple and real. His nickname "Tank" said it all - strong, solid, and always charging forward with loyalty and love. He loved his Bixby football family, Piedmont High School football family, Keys football family, and his soccer family, all of which brought him joy, camaraderie, and lifelong friendships.

Above all, Ashton loved deeply - especially his cats, Remi and Cleo, who were never far from his side. Ashton was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Betty Collard and Kenneth Collard, and his paternal grandmother, DeLores Meyer.

Though his time with us was far too short, Ashton's impact will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. His laughter, loyalty, and light-hearted spirit will never be forgotten. He is survived by his father, Travis Meyer, and wife Rose Meyer; his mother, Susan Crow, and husband Mark Crow; his siblings: Crosby Meyer, Leah Meyer, and Anna Mills and husband Michael; his nieces and nephew: Hadley Mills, London Meyer, and Hesston Mills; his grandfather Gerhart Meyer; his uncle Shawn Meyer and wife Rhonda; and a large extended family of step-siblings who loved him dearly: Jakob Gartzke, Lukas Gartzke, Kaleb Gartzke, Chris Crow, Evangelyn Charry, Andrew Crow, Joseph Crow, and Tori Abel. He is also remembered with love by numerous cousins and extended family who held a special place in his life.

A celebration of Ashton's life will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 2:00 PM at New Beginnings in Bixby, Oklahoma, with Mark Crow, Ashton's step dad officiating.
