Alice Lucinda Willis passed away peacefully with loving family by her side on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at the age of 87.
Alice was born on December 1, 1938, to Paul and Marie (Ellison) Withrow. From an early age, she developed a servant's heart that would become the foundation of her life. She dedicated herself first and foremost to her family, lovingly raising her four children while also building a successful career and faithfully serving her church and community.
On June 3, 1956, Alice married the love of her life, Donald Willis. Don was 21 years old and Alice was just 17 when they began the remarkable journey that would define their lives together. Through decades of marriage, they built a home filled with love, laughter, faith, and unwavering support. Together they raised four children-Alicia, Crystal, Rob, and Brent-all of whom graduated from Dewey High School. Alice and Don worked side by side to instill in their children the values of compassion, service to others, and a strong Christian faith.
While raising her family, Alice also enjoyed a successful professional career. She worked as a long-distance sales representative in both Bartlesville and Tulsa before advancing into management, ultimately retiring as a Sales Manager with Southwestern Bell and later AT&T. She was respected for her leadership, dedication, and ability to connect with people.
Her faith remained at the center of everything she did. Alice faithfully served as a church secretary for many years and was formerly a devoted member of LifeChurch in Jenks, Oklahoma. She believed deeply in sharing God's love through action and participated in numerous mission trips throughout her life. One of her most treasured experiences was traveling to Haiti in 1978 with three of her children on a mission trip, creating memories that remained close to her heart for the rest of her life.
Alice will be remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering faith, generous heart, and the love she freely shared with everyone around her. Her greatest joy was caring for her family, encouraging others, and living a life devoted to serving both God and those in need.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Willis, and her father, Paul Withrow, and mother Marie (Ellison) Withrow
Alice leaves behind many cherished memories with her loving family, including her daughters, Alicia Nelson and Crystal Dowell; her sons, Rob Willis and Brent Willis; along with many other beloved relatives, dear friends, and all whose lives were blessed by her kindness and faith.
