Arthur €œJohn€ Weaver, age 53, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2006 at St. John Medical Center, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
John was born October 14, 1952 to Roy Weaver and Betty (Goodwin) Weaver of Mounds, Oklahoma. John graduated in 1970 from Jenks High School and attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa. John met the love of his life, Debra Short. They were united in marriage June 2, 1972 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. John resided in the Mounds area most of his life. He was the owner of A J Weaver Metals & Company, Mounds, Oklahoma.
Mr. Weaver was a €œpeople€ person. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and his four dogs: Sasie, Katie, Callie and Charlotte. He also loved traveling and shopping.
John is survived by both parents: Roy and Betty Weaver;his uncle: Arthur J. Weaver; his wife: Debra Weaver; his son: Aaron and his wife, Glenda Weaver; daughters: Amber and Joey Weaver; two granddaughters: Emily and Hailey Weaver; one grandson: Braden Weaver and two sisters: Sue Robinson and Lou Howell and many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be: Dick Poledna, Marty Rivers, Mitch Rivers, Chad Hartley, Scott Williams and Pistol Bell.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 25th at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Church, Glenpool, Oklahoma. Reverend Tom Ballard will officiate. Interment will immediately follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
