Woodrow Jennings Wilson

Woodrow J. “Pat” Wilson, a resident of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away at his residence on October 2, 2010 at the age of 97 years. Woodrow was born on January 21, 1913 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Ned and Haley (Swendell) Wilson. He was a retired engineer for Gulf Oil Co. and had owned his own oil business. His wife, Mary Jane (Query) Wilson, has preceded him in death in July of 1995. He was also preceded in death by several brothers. His survivors include three daughters: Nancy Mueller (Roger) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Vicki Swofford (Craig) of Terre Haute, Indiana, and Patricia Thompson (Stephen) of Princeville, HI. His grandchildren are Robbyn Smith, Allison Bales, Rebecca Yoder, Jill Huster, Kayce Swofford, Johanna Slaysman, Bethany Woodward, and Eben Thompson. His great-grandchildren are John Craig Huster, Christopher Huster, Austin Yoder, Alec Yoder, Ashlyn Yoder, Jessie Smith, Charlie Smith, and Kamuela Woodward. Family will be receiving friends Sunday from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Henryetta. Private Family Burial will be held at a later date.
