William Albert Alexander

William Albert Alexander, Jr. (Bill) was born February 23rd, 1936 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to William Albert Alexander, Sr. and Sarah Elizabeth Moore. Bill passed from this life on Saturday, October 26th, 2019 at the age of 83.

Bill was a graduate of Tulsa Central High School in 1954 and attended the University of Wisconsin where he obtained a B.S in Mining Engineering and a Masters in Geology. Bill was a petroleum engineer for over 60 years working for Shell Oil, Kirby Exploration and Natomas before venturing out to start Professional Petroleum Engineering in September of 1983. His consulting ranged from hands on field work to testifying as an expert witness in many court cases.

Bills many loves outside of work included golf, cooking, Star Trek, yard work (yes, yard work) family and his numerous dogs over the years with George being his favorite sidekick. These loves were often the recipient of his free time whether it was walking 18 holes every morning or cooking Sunday dinner every weekend for all that wanted to show. Most nights he could be found watching Star Trek with his dogs or catering to Cil and her friends, all for which he cherished and adored. Bill was a kind man who was always willing to listen and assist. He was beloved and respected by his family, friends and business colleagues for his advice, his thoroughness, his honesty and for the integrity with which he portrayed.

He was proceeded in death by his mother, father and son, Cecil Ogle. He is survived by his wife, Cil of Broken Arrow, brother Howard Alexander and wife Char of Denver, CO., daughter Lann Smith and husband Rocky of Katy, TX, daughter Sarah Hall and her husband Joel of Edmond, OK, daughter Glenda Weaver and husband Aaron of Bixby, OK, 5 grandsons, Braden Weaver, Cecil Ogle Jr., Trey, Hunter and Chase Smith, 5 granddaughters, Emily and Hailey Weaver, Eve Williamson, Sarah Beth and Emma Hall, 3 great-grandchildren, Mabrey Weaver, Nick IV and Layla Smith along with many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all!
