Wesley Bernard

Wesley Bernard, of Ponca City, OK passed away at the age of 77 on January 5th, 2023. He was born in Waldkirchen, Germany on July 30th, 1945, near the end of World War II to his mother Jozefa Graczyk. He lived in Poland until 1981 when he immigrated to America with his wife Halina and their two sons, John, and Mark. They spent many years living in Stillwater, OK until Wesley retired from Mercury Marine and moved to Ponca City.

Wesley was a brave man who came to America without knowing English and with only $500 in his pocket, and through hard work and perseverance he grew that into a prosperous and successful life for his family. John and Mark are forever grateful for the courage and sacrifice of their parents and their desire to provide a better life of freedom and opportunity.

Wesley was preceded in death by his wife Halina, and is survived by his sons Mark and John Bernard, John's wife Holly, and their son Kellan who brought much pride and light to Wes' life.

May he rest in peace.
