Wanda June Kerns

Wanda June Kerns, 89, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017 in Claremore. Wanda was born March 4, 1927 to Harlan R. and Alice (Weaver) Bates in Charleston, IL.

Wanda graduated from the Chilicothe High School Chilicothe, OH. 1945. She was employed as a Bus Driver at Fairfield School district in Leesburg, OH for twenty years.

Wanda enjoyed doing stained glass and making pottery for many years. She was very active up until last year and half before her passing. She paid great attention to detail both inside and outside her home. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Claremore, OK. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

Wanda was preceded in death by her husband Sam Kerns of Ohio her brother, Kenneth Bates of Florida. She is survived by her son, Timothy A. Crum and his wife, Deborah; son, James Crum and wife, Ginger Phipps; grandchildren: Jaime Crum, Raymond Crum, Trey Crum, and Alicia Crum.
