Virginia Renee Toney

Virginia Renee Toney "Cheekie" was born on April 20th, 1983 in Okmulgee, OK to her parents, Nathan, and Lisa (Juneau) Toney. She passed away in her home with loving family by her side on Monday, May 10th, 2021, at the age of 38.

Cheekie spent her early years in Kansas City, Missouri and later returned to Okmulgee, OK where she spent the remainder of her life. During her return, she attended Okmulgee High School and graduated with the class of 2001. She attended Arkansas school of the blind and received her Associates degree in business. She loved going to the kids sporting events. From basketball, softball, track, and football games, she was always present to cheer them on. One of Cheekie's favorite things to do was to go to the casino. She was always traveling to different casinos. Her grand babies were her world. Cheekie enjoyed most spending time with her friends and family. She was always joking around with them. She had a love for animals. Cheekie was a kind, caring, nonjudgmental person always helping someone out, she was a listener, a friend, a daughter, a mother, and so much more.

She is preceded in death by Grandparents Chiquita (Berryhill) and Joe McNac, Royce and Karen Juneau, Virginia (Lasley) and Andy Toney and Great grandma Susie Monday, Uncle Dennis Juneau, Douglas Juneau, and Milton Lasley, Aunt Cindy (Harley) Townsend, Cousins Ronald, and Melanie Parker.

Virginia leaves many loving memories with her loving family, Mother Lisa Richardson and husband Steve, Father Nathan Toney, Daughters Desire'e (Christopher) Morgan, Carley Buckley, Maria Toney and Son Isaiah Toney, Grandchildren Caelix and Cauri Morgan, Siblings LaQuita (Wayne) Adams- Simmons and Randall Toney, Grandmother Lou Lasley, Godmother Robin Molle, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Public Viewing/Visitation will be held 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM Friday, May 14, 2021 at Schaudt's Okmulgee Funeral Service Chapel. A Wake Service will be held 7:00 PM May 14, 2021 at Schaudt Funeral Service Chapel in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, May 15, 2020 at the Jubliee Christian Center in Okmulgee with Mr. Wotko Long officiating. Casketbearers will be Christopher Morgan, Marcus Cash, Charles Ware, Matt Bear, Tommy Fulton, Cody Ashlock, and Isaiah Toney. Honorary casketbearers will be Steve Richardson, Caelix Morgan, Wayne Simmons, Darrell Rideau, Randall Toney, Nathan Toney, Eric Johnson, and Oscar Jaramillo.
