Verna Peoples

Verna Peoples, age 79, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2016 at her home in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Verna was born on June 9, 1937 in Cerulean, Kentucky to Vernon and Corene (Cook) Taylor. After graduation from Wagoner High School, Verna, joined the United States Air Force. She was honorably discharged in January 1958. In an addition to her military service, she worked as a pad printer in the manufacturing industry at Zebco for 16 years.
She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Peoples, daughter, Christi Witt, grandchildren, Ty Patterson, Summer Witt, great-grandchildren, Ty Patterson II, Wyatt Patterson, Ryder Patterson, sister, Margiur Price, nieces, Sharon and Pattie, nephews, Mike Price, Halley Price, and many great- nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 19, 2016. It will at the Ft. Gibson National Cemetery, 1423 Cemetery Rd., Ft. Gibson, OK. 74434.
