Tony unexpectedly left this world on Monday, December 3, 2018 with his family by his side. He was 64.

On December 26, 1998 in Tulsa, Oklahoma he married the love of his life, Joni Marie (Hackett) Hodges.

Tony was an entrepreneur. Together with his father and brother they founded Hodges Quality Meats in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1976. In 2000 he founded Midwest Food Services, Inc. with his wife Joni.

Tony was an avid soccer fan who coached and inspired many young athletes including his two children, Blake and Ali. In 1993 he co-founded Blitz United Soccer Club, Tulsa’s first premier soccer league for girls. Tony went on to coach at the Tulsa Soccer Club. In 1998, he received recognition from the Governor of Oklahoma and the House of Representatives for coaching the first girls’ team in Oklahoma to make it to the national soccer finials. He cherished all the relationships he formed with parents, players and other coaches.

Tony had a gentle soul who was always willing to lend a helping hand for those in need. He was kind, considerate and a volunteer in the community. One of Tony's greatest gifts was his sense of humor. He could make anyone laugh and even find humor in his weakest moments. It filled Tony with joy to make others laugh and smile. He will be missed by all who knew him.
