Theresa C. Stowell

Theresa (Terri) Cecile (Cote) Stowell age 70 passed away Saturday, May 16, 2015 and went to her eternal home with the Lord after a long battle with melanoma.

Terri was born on August 11, 1944 in New Bedford, Massachusetts to Donat Cote and Adrienne (Berube) Cote. She was the youngest of five children. Terri married, Ken Stowell in Cape Cod, Massachusetts in November of 1980. She worked as an executive secretary for many years but after the birth of her son, Ken II, she devoted her time to raising her family. Some of Terri's hobbies were traveling, RV camping, attending to her pets and landscaping. She was a member of First Baptist Church - Jenks. She previous was an active member of the Wooddale Church in Eden Prairie, MN and Numa Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Terri was preceded in death by parents: Donat and Adrienne Cote.

She is survived by her husband, Ken Stowell of Jenks, her son Ken Stowell, II, his wife Angelena, and their children, Lilly, Lola, Eli and soon to be Lucy of Kansas City, MO, her sisters Lorraine Gentili of New Bedford, MA, Evelyn Hale of Clearwater, Florida, Doris Dupont of Newport Richey, Florida, Jeanette Trudeau of Columbus, Ohio and her brother Robert Cote of North Dartmouth, MA, her step-daughter, Jennifer Rich of Halifax, MA, step-sons, Jeffrey of Center Lovell, Maine, Mark of Chapin, South Carolina, ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, other family members, friends and acquaintances.

The Stowell family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in her memory to First Baptist Church - Jenks to their local Missions Outreach program or to the John 3:16 Mission, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
