Theodore William Kimmel

Theodore (Ted) William Kimmel, age 70 passed away May 23, 2007 at his residence in Tryon, Oklahoma.
Ted was born July 14, 1936 to William and Violet (Speck) Kimmel in Erie, Pennsylvania. He served his country in the United States Air Force before joining his father and brother at BEMCO, Inc. in Centerton, Arkansas.
In 2000, after more than 25 years, he sold his half of the business to his brother and retired from the life of Vice President and Engineer to enjoy traveling with his loving wife Jean (or Sam as he called her). Ted needed to keep busy and went into business with Jean, her nephew and his wife buying the Model Tee, in Perkins, Oklahoma. He later went to work as the Perkins Animal Control and Code Enforcement Officer. This position suited Ted since he was a people person and loved animals.
Mr. Kimmel was preceded in death by his parents: Bill and Vi Kimmel; his father and mother in-law: Alfred and Lenita Beal; a niece: Kimberly Woolf and a nephew: Mark Kimmel.
He was survived by his wife of more then 32 years, Jean (Sam); four children: Reynold, Debra, Vincent and Vickie (along with her husband Rory), one daughter-in-law: Shonda Kimmel; one brother: Gene Kimmel and his wife Claudia; seven grandchildren: April, Alise, Dashya, Raisa, Jesse, Stephanie and Rory Jr.; four great grandchildren: Maddie, Tristan, Taryn and Nick; two brother and sister-in-laws, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews along with his many friends who will miss him greatly.
Ted was very proud of his grandchildren and family for all of their achievements.
Mr. Kimmel's wish was to be cremated and his ashes scattered on his land in Tryon, Oklahoma. A celebration of his life is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
