Steven Kyle Rist age 29 passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2012 in Boca Raton, Florida . Steven was born July 5, 1983 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Rodney K. Rist and Kathy J. (Means) Rist. He graduated from Jenks High School with the Class of 2002. He was the State Champion Golfer while attending Jenks High School. Steven attended UCO. Steven loved golf, working out, going to the beach but most of all he loved his family. He was a very loving young man with big blue eyes and an infectious smile. Steven lived in Delray Beach, Florida and was employed by Bocaire Country Club in Boca Raton, Florida. He worked for the past twenty-five months in golf course management. Steven was a member of First United Methodist Church in Jenks. Steven was preceded in death by his grandmother Bertie Means. He is survived by his parents Rodney and Kathy Rist of Jenks, his sister Kari Rhoades and her husband, Chris of Tulsa, his niece, Kayla Jo of Tulsa, his grandfather, Lloyd Means and his wife Marilyn of Bixby, his grandparents Larry and Sue Rist of Claremore, his uncle Mike Means and his wife Carol of Jenks, his uncle Keith Means and his wife Marianne of Tulsa, his aunt Rhonda Fowler and her husband Paul of Claremore, his aunt Roxanna McCrory and her husband Brad of Tulsa, his aunt Rita Palmer and her husband Robert of Meeker along with numerous cousins, family members, friends and acquaintances. Visitation is 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Home. Funeral service is 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at First United Methodist Church, 415 E. Main Street, Jenks, Oklahoma. Reverend David E. Karges will officiate. Pallbearers are Matt Means, Mason Means, Nathan Means, Logan Palmer, John Rachal, Charlie Brown, Garrett Fowler and Jared Fowler. Memorial donations can be made in memory of Steve Rist to Jenks High School Athletic Department, 205 East B Street, Jenks, Oklahoma 74037 (918 299-4415). Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C.
