Starr Reese

Starr Reese, 61, of Glenpool, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord April 17, 2023, in Tulsa with her loving family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. Starr was born in Pryor, Oklahoma September 4, 1961, to Herchel Moore and Shirley Chidester Jackson.

Starr had the biggest heart, the most beautiful eyes and a smile that could light up a room. She was a quiet and private person, but she also was very outgoing, quick witted and fun. Starr was fearless and independent, yet sensitive and incredibly compassionate.

Starr loved her family and the lord, taking vacations, cooking, gardening, shopping and her beloved dogs. The best moment of her life was when she became a Meme.

Starr will forever be loved, remembered and missed.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Jessica Wadley and son-in-law, Neal Mattke; grandson, Kash Mattke; brothers, Ronnie Moore and Shane Moore; sister, Charlotte Grossman. Starr is preceded in death by her husband, Ron Reese; mother, Shirley Jackson; father, Herchel Moore.

A celebration of Starr's life will be held 2:00pm, Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Schaudt's Glenpool-Bixby Funeral Service, 1329 E. 151st St. Glenpool, Oklahoma 74033, a reception will be held immediately following services.
