Stacy Lee Hopkins

January 9, 1975 — April 9, 2020

Stacy Lee Hopkins, 45, of Bixby, Oklahoma went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 9, 2020.

Stacy was born on January 9, 1975 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. He leaves behind three children who adored him, Braden (16), Beau (14) & Brynlee (11).

Stacy was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry & Lorene Hopkins formerly of Sand Springs, Oklahoma.

Stacy leaves behind so many people who loved him: His ex-wife Shawnna Norris, their three beautiful children, Braden, Beau and Brynlee, brothers Steve and Stan, nephew Aaron and his wife Emily, nieces Adrian, Alyssa and Ashley, great-nieces MacKenzie and Charlie Ann and great-nephew Brodie.

Stacy graduated from Charles Page High School in Sand Springs, Oklahoma in 1993. He attended Tulsa Community College, where he earned an Associate’s Degree in Business in 1996. He also took classes at OSU-Tulsa.

Stacy worked for years at Arvest Bank and later Bank of Oklahoma. In 2013, Stacy was hired as a Project Manager at RedDog Construction, where his co-workers considered him family.

Stacy’s children were his whole world. He instilled in them a love of Jesus Christ, our country and listening to Charlie Daniels. Stacy’s humor and kindness had the power to turn strangers into friends and to know Stacy was to love him.

A private celebration of Stacy’s life will be held at Schaudts Funeral Service in Glenpool. The family plans to honor Stacy’s legacy with friends and those who loved him, in the coming weeks.

Stacy was a man of deep faith, who often found comfort while grieving in this bible verse: Revelation 21:4 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes: and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain.”
