Shonda Lea Thompson

Shonda Lea (Sloan) Thompson age 44 passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Shonda was born February 10, 1967 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Kenneth Ray Sloan and Cleeta (Watkins) Coffman. She attended Glenpool High School and Tulsa Community College. Shonda enjoyed writing poetry, crocheting and reading. She had a marvelous sense of humor. No one could tell a joke like her. Shonda had an unforgettable laugh. She worked as a Dietary Manager. She is survived by her mother, Cleeta Coffman and her husband, Johnny of Glenpool, her father, Kenneth Ray Sloan and his wife, Marsha of Mounds, her daughter, Evelyn Warren and her husband, Adam of Broken Bow, her daughter, Hollie Brown of Tulsa, her son, Druallen L. Brown and his wife, Audrey of Haughton, LA, her brother, Eddie Sloan and his wife, Shawn of Glenpool, her sister, Jennifer McMurrian and her husband, Tim of Glenpool, her sister, Julia Miller and her husband, Brandon of Glenpool, her nine loving grandchildren, her special friend, Corkey Gault along with other family members, friends and acquaintances. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel. Reverend Chris Abbott will officiate. Arrangements were entrusted to Daniel C.
