Shawn Steven Fifield

Shawn Steven Fifield passed away with loving family by his side on March 7, 2019, at the age of 54 years. Shawn was born on April 27, 1964 in Fayetteville, AR to his parents, John Michael and Sharon (Gage) Fifield. Shawn's family moved to Texarkana, Arkansas when he was in middle school. He moved to Tulsa a couple years after he graduated Arkansas High School so that he would be able to help his mother.

He met the love of his life, Cherie Vanhook, and they were married on September 19, 1998 in Sperry, OK. He worked as a Retail Salesman at Starbase 21 Collectibles Shop in Tulsa. Shawn had an extensive collection of collectibles; his prized collections included office supplies, Zippo lighters, and Hot Wheels. He was a very loving and giving person who had a huge heart. He was Pack Leader for Cub Scout Pack 899 while his son was in Scouts. He loved to read Tom Clancy novels as well as Sci-Fi Books. Shawn was always known to be very respectful and kind. Extremely patriotic, and was proud to express his love of our flag and country. He was also known as a jokester, always trying to make people smile and laugh.

Shawn leaves many loving memories with his family; wife, Cherie Fifield, of Skiatook, mother, Sharon Fifield; children, Breanna Fifield and Jacob Fifield; brother, Todd Fifield; as well as many other loving family members and a host of friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Celebration of Life services will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the Central Park in Skiatook, Oklahoma.
