Russell Benjamin Lorenz

January 16, 1939 — November 9, 2021

Russell Benjamin Lorenz passed away suddenly on Tuesday November 9th, 2021, at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 82. He was the husband of Wilma Lee Lorenz. They shared 64 years together. Born in La Salle, Colorado to parents Albert and Beatrice Lorenz. He attended Gem State Academy in Idaho and La Sierra University in California. As a young man he enjoyed playing basketball and baseball. Some of his careers included cattleman, salesman, realtor, and house construction. He and Wilma owned and manufactured Stabilizer Systems Inc. for 22 years before retiring in 2006. Russ was an active member and volunteer of the Seventh-Day Adventist church throughout his life. He was an alumni member of His Voice men's choir, member (1992-present) Adventist-Laymen's Services & Industries (ASI) and past president (1999-2000) of Pacific Union ASI. He will be remembered as a constant witness for Jesus and instant friend to all he met.

Russ is lovingly remembered by his wife and children Jeff and Heather Lorenz of Bixby, Oklahoma and Marc Lorenz of Tulsa, Oklahoma, his grandchildren Megan Lorenz of Vancouver, Washington, Taylor Lorenz of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Gwendolyn and Connor Lorenz of Bixby, Oklahoma. His brother Ken Lorenz of Omaha, Nebraska, and sister Kay Johnson of Wheatridge, Colorado.

He is predeceased by his brother Adrian and parents Albert and Beatrice Lorenz.
