Ronnie Lee Furrh

June 3, 1945 — March 8, 2023

Ron Furrh went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 8, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital. He was born in Wilson, Oklahoma to Robert and Berbie Furrh on June 3, 1945. He graduated from Coyle High School before moving to Guthrie, Oklahoma, then Glencoe and Tulsa. After proudly serving his country in the U S Army, he married Susan (Gubas) Furrh on June 7, 1968.


Ron spent his work career in sales with Meadow Gold, Budweiser, Pepsi, Matco Tools and Lance Crackers. He also worked at Spirit and Tulsa Public Schools Transportation.


He loved his family, his church and helping people, as well as making everyone he met feel happy and special. Ron enjoyed being involved with car racing at RUJO raceway and Tulsa Speedway. He also was very involved with Pony of America, showing horses with nieces Tracy, Shelly and Cindy. He served on the Oklahoma POA board, loving the traveling and meeting people.


He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Bobby, Billy and Jimmy Furrh and 1 sister, Karen Furrh. Ron is survived by his wife of 55 years, Susan, his son Robert and wife Heather of Glenpool, twin grandsons, Matthew and Timothy Furrh of Glenpool, brother Jerry Furrh of Mt. Vernon, Missouri and sister Sharon Creager of Perry Oklahoma, as well as in-laws, many cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
