Ronnie Dale McLemore

Ronnie Dale McLemore age 85, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018 at Hillcrest South in Tulsa, Oklahoma, surrounded by his loved ones.

Ronnie was born in Stillwell, Oklahoma, on November 2, 1932 to the late Jess McLemore and Dora "Hopper" McLemore. He attended Seneca Elementary Boarding School and graduated from Chilocco High Boarding School. While in high school, he was very active in football, boxing, basketball, and tennis. Upon graduation, Ronnie joined the Army and served his country honorably. Once he returned, he attended and graduated from Haskell College and Tulsa Business School with his associate degree. Ronnie was a great supervisor in the transportation division with the Haskell Jr. College where he retired.

Ronnie had four beautiful daughters, which he adored very much. There are such fond memories of family vacations to Worlds of Fun, Branson, and going to see family in Oklahoma. Ronnie was proud of his daughters. He was a spiritual man and a positive figure for the family. His smile could light up a room and made people feel at ease. He was accepting of everyone and very dependable.

Later in life, he met and fell in love with Bernadine "Thompson" McLemore. They had many happy times together. They loved to travel all over going to square dancing events and even traveled to nationals. Ronnie always had a love for motorcycles, and he recently put over 100,000 miles on his bike. He enjoyed watching KU basketball and the Sequoyah High School high school basketball and football.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Jess and Dora McLemore, siblings; Francis Moreno, Richard McLemore, and Jessie McLemore.

Ronnie is survived by his wife; Bunky McLemore, children; Ramona McLemore, Laurie McLemore, Julie Parker, Dot Saunders, children; Ralph Manning and Debria Hash, siblings; Verna Mann, Margaret Fields, Doris Shawnee, Ginger Baird, Shirley Griffith, LuLu Pratt, and extended family and friends.

Family viewing will be held from 3pm - 7pm on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Chapel, 719 E. 141st Street, Glenpool, OK 74033, a Wake Service will follow the viewing, at 7pm.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 30, 2018 at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel,with Pastor Todd Parker and Don Tiger officiating.
