He was born Sunday, December 20, 1931 to George and Edna (Wilson)Repsher in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Army Air Force in 1948. Mr. Repsher worked as a carpenter and was President of Local 2463 in Ventura, CA, prior to moving to Oklahoma in 1972. After he moved to Okmulgee, he had started a construction company called “Rep’s Construction”. Later he quit doing carpenter work altogether and bought “U Need Um Tires” and moved it across the street and renamed it “Rep’s Tire Center” where he finally sold and retired to a lake home until which time he became ill and decided to move closer to Dr.’s and Hospitals and returned to Okmulgee. Bob was initiated to the Masonic Lodge on June 12, 1969. He was passed to the Degree of Fellowcraft on November 13, 1969 and raised to the Degree of Master Mason on February 19, 1970 in Poinsetta Lodge #633 in Ventura, CA. He was admitted on Demit to Okmulgee Lodge #199 on May 17, 1973 and been a member since that time. He also was a York Rite Mason Okmulgee Chapter No. 39, Okmulgee Council No. 17 and Gethsemane Commandery No. 25. He later joined the Akdar Shrine, Knights Templers; he also marched for the Knights Templers drill team for several years which he enjoyed very much. Mr. Repsher was also a member of the Elks Lodge, VFW Post 1189 in Okmulgee and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. On December 30, 1982, he married Veta (Southern) in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Some of Mr. Repsher’s hobbies were deep sea fishing which he would take his boat, his son, a friend and himself and they would go to the Islands off the Coast of California for the weekend. He also enjoyed scuba diving, bowling, baseball and coaching little league when he lived in California. While in Oklahoma, he would take his carnival equipment out and that was enjoyable to him, the camping out and the interesting people that he met. He liked to do some gardening and grow flowers in his own flower gardens and food in his vegetable garden until he became ill and this kept him from doing much of the things that he liked to do. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Edna (Wilson) Repsher and his sisters, Mary Penn, Georgia Newport and Lillie Miller.
