Phyllis Anita White

A funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Phyllis Anita White will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday, June 11, 2018 at Praise Fellowship in Sapulpa, Oklahoma with Pastor Geebon Gouge to officiate. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00 at Schaudt’s Funeral Service in Glenpool.

Phyllis Anita White age 64, passed away at her home in Jenks, Oklahoma on June 5, 2018 with her loving family by her side. Phyllis was born on April 26, 1954 in Claremore, OK to Jimmy Dowdy and Dorothy McNac. She spent her working years doing what she loved which was take care of people and be a nurse.

When Phyllis was not working you could always find her spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren; they were her true pride and joy. She had the most contagious outgoing and uplifting personality and would light up any room she walked into. Phyllis would always tell people to be outside; she hated to be inside and wouldn’t want others to be either. She had a servant’s heart and a heart for others and would work any fundraiser that someone needed her to be at. Phyllis also loved to sing, dance and play pool. She was the true definition of living life to the fullest and will be greatly missed.

Phyllis is preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Pete Dowdy; life partner, Tim Wouters; grandma, Georgia Ratliff; step daughter, Robin Bennette.

She is survived by her mother, Dorothy McNac; daughters, Kelly Petty and husband Sean, and Raelyn White and husband Shawn; son, Ross White; step son, Brad and Cory Wouters; step daughter, Casey George; brothers, Bill Dowdy and Victor Dowdy; sisters, Jimmie Moreno, Cindy Frieling , Denise Walling and Pamela Newrider; 17 grandchildren and 7 seven great grandchildren.
