Omer S Suiter

A funeral service to honor and celebrate the life of Omer Suiter will be held on Monday, April 1, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Schaudt's Okmulgee Funeral Service Chapel. A visitation will be held prior to the funeral service beginning at 10:00 AM.

Omer Suiter of Enid, Oklahoma, passed away on March 27, 2019, at the age of 91. Omer was born on September 1, 1927 in Kusa, Oklahoma.

Omer was the eldest son of Raymond and Agnes Suiter. Omer proudly served our country during WWII in the United States Army in the tank squadron. He married Annie Mae Rhodes in August 1947. Omer would go on to accept Christ as his personal savior in 1962 and began serving the lord. He also worked over forty years as a glass glazer throughout Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, and Arkansas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Agnes Suiter, wife, Annie Mae Suiter, granddaughter, Rebecca Suiter, and sister, Patsy Suiter.

Those left to cherish his memory include, brother, Bob Suiter of Weikiwackee, Florida, sister, Betty Rhodes of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, sister, Dorothy Suiter Richardson of Bonham, Texas, Brother Ralph Suiter and wife Marilyn of Okmulgee, Oklahoma and brother-in-law Jay Rhodes and wife Kris of Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Children include, Barbara Sharp and husband Larry, Mike Suiter and wife Cheryl, Jim Suiter and wife Carol, Jerry Suiter and wife Karen, as well as Patricia Watts and husband Roy. Grand children include, Tami, Mark, David, Candace, Shelly, Kimberly, Desiree, Michael, Brandon, Bradley, and Kaitlyn. As well as seventeen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
