Noe De Jesus Rodriguez, Jr.

October 10, 1981 — October 15, 2021

Noe deJesus Rodriguez, Jr woke up in Glory on October 15th just five days after this 40th birthday.
Born October 10th 1981 and raised in Texas, Noe grew up a loyal Longhorns fan and even after relocating to Oklahoma, marrying his love Stephanie, and raising babies there, his blood still ran thick with Texas burnt orange.
Noe was a husband first. Supporting Stephanie's love for gardening and often making "just one more" raised garden bed for her to plant a few more seeds at Hippie Gardens. He honored her all of his days as the loyal and dedicated leader of his family.
He was Daddy in the very best way to Izzy and Sonny. His greatest joys and greatest accomplishments on this earth. He loved to banter with Izzy engaging her in debate expanding her critical thinking and articulation skills. Both such important traits for someone gifted in the art of writing - Noe had a gift for helping his children grow in their gifts. He would have done anything for the daughter he chose. Sonny was his best friend. He coached his football teams and stood with such pride as his boy put on that Sandite helmet. If there was a team Sonny played on - no matter the sport - Noe was there. As Coach and Daddy. His relationship with Sonny and teaching him all the things about being a man were of highest priority to Noe. He wanted to raise a Godly man who was tough as nails but also compassionate and steady in the storm - a man like him.
He was a Coach and Umpire. He loved those kids like they were his own. Teaching them all the ins and outs of the game. But more importantly how men lead with integrity and grit and honor. Those boys learned so much more than just football from Coach.
He loved his nephews and niece like they were his own. Cherishing every minute with his extended family. Noe was the type of friend that you could not see for 6 months and pick right back up with him. Because he loved deep, and he remembered everything about the last time he saw you. He would have given his last penny to a friend and gone hungry himself. Noe walked his faith out in practical ways and that's one of the many things that made him so very special.
Noe loved Jesus, and he knew his seat at the table in Heaven was so very secure. And so, there is hope in grief. Because the angels rejoiced even though earth wept when he came Home. Jim Elliot once said to "walk as if the next step would carry you across the threshold of Heaven." That was Noe. Walking with a mix of grit and grace but always gazing up, because he knew without a doubt where his Hope remained.
Noe is survived by his wife Stephanie, his daughter Isabelle Marie, his sons Jayden Rey and Santiago Lofton all of Sand Springs, Oklahoma ; his mother Raquel Cardenas and step-father Max, father Noe Rodriguez, Sr., and sister Lela Rodriguez of Texas ; his mother and father in love Don and Diann Hester of Sand Springs, sister and brothers in law Corrie and Jeff Luker and sons Noah Chase, Hunter, Dylan and Colton ; Bryan Hester and children Brayden, Clayton, Kaylee and Gavin ; Keith Hester and son Jaxson ; and great nephew and niece Declan Knox and Marley Nicole all of Oklahoma ; and many extended family members and friends.
