Nicholas Loy Radford

March 4, 1943 — April 13, 2020

Nicholas Loy Radford of Glenpool, Oklahoma was born to parents Masser and Annabelle Radford on March 4, 1943 in Ashville, Ohio. Nicholas passed away on Monday, April 13, 2020, at the age of 77 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Nick proudly served our country in the United States Navy from 1962 to 1964 in which he was a level BM3 Petty Officer 3rd Class Mate. He met the love of his life, Wanda Ragsdale in 1984. Throughout Nicholas' working career he was an electrician, concrete finisher and retired volunteer firefighter. He also served as a member in both Elks Lodge and Master Mason of the Masonic Lodge 170, both of Sapulpa, Oklahoma.

He was an amazing husband father and papa to his family. He was the provider and rock that held his family together. He was a respected member of his community in which he loved to serve others before himself. Those who met him knew he was a man of his word and many of the lives he touched idolized him. He will be remembered for the many things he was willing to teach others who where willing to learn from him. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.

Nick is preceded in death by father, Masser Radford, mother, Annabelle Radford and son Dennis Ragsdale.

Nick leaves many loving memories with his family including his wife Wanda Radford of Glenpool, Oklahoma, sons, Troy Radford, Glenpool, Oklahoma and Eddie Ragsdale of Shawnee, Oklahom and sister, Sue Moore. Grandchildren include, Chris Ragsdale of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Rachel Taylor of Hermiston, Kyler Radford of Glenpool, Oklahoma, Kassidy Radford of Bixby, Oklahoma, Aubree Radford of Glenpool, Oklahoma and greatgrandson Jaxon Radford.

A vistation will be held at Schaudt's Glenpool Chapel on Friday, April 17, 2020 from 1:00 - 8:00 PM.
