Mildred Morris

Mildred F. Morris, a resident of Broken Arrow and a former resident of Beggs, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the age of 91. She was born May 4, 1919 to Virgil and Louisa (Gibson) Featherston in Phillips, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland James Morris in 1994; parents, and siblings, Milford Featherston, Guila Parker and Theda Butts. Survivors include her son, James Roy Morris and wife, Patricia of Broken Arrow; three grandchildren, Brett Morris and wife, Nita of Stillwater; Becky More of Broken Arrow and Jeff Morris and wife, Shelley of Catoosa; seven great grandchildren, Jordan, Levi and Jesse Morris, Mason More, Andrea, Taylor and Alex Morris and many friends and church family. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 28, 2010 at the Okmulgee Cemetery with Ross Oldenkamp officiating.
