Micheal Neal Blankenship

Micheal Neal Blankenship of Mill Creek, Oklahoma was born on March 3, 1953 to Albert and Betty Blankenship. Michael passed away on Tuesday July 26, 2022 at the age of 69 in his home at Mill Creek, Oklahoma. Mike had been a volunteer for the Corps of Engineer and worked for Mill Creek park/camp ground for several years. Mike enjoyed the outdoors. He loved to fish and hunt.

Mike served in the Army and was honorably discharged for several duties during his service. Mike married Dianna Calvert on October 3, 1975 and during their marriage 3 children where born. Mike worked years in the oilfield and after his career there decided to work construction helping to build several buildings one of those being Eastland Mall where he built the fountain. He continued construction until an injury prevented him to continue. After his recovery he moved on to working in a glass plant, working at Barlett Collins, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. A back surgery prevented him from continued work.

Mike is preceded in death by his father, mother and one brother, Benjamin Blankenship.

He leaves behind his girlfriend of 24 years, Kay Roberts, his three children, Daughter Angela D. Blankenship of Hinton, Oklahoma; Daughter, Courtney Tucker and husband Larkin of Okmulgee, Oklahoma and son Micheal Neal Blankenship II and wife Jennifer of Cape Coral, Florida. Five grandchildren Brandon Giebas, David Endres, Zachary Endres, Alexia Blankenship, and Janna Blankenship. Two great grandchildren Bella Endres and Brooklynn Endres and his siblings Marvin Blankenship, Jesse Blankenship, Jeannie Sutton, and Teresa Sherrill along with several neices and nephews.

No services are planned at this time but a private family service will take place at a later time.
