Mervin €œMC€ Charles Fesmire age 93 passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at the Sterling House in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Mervin was born November 20, 1916 in Rose Hill, Kansas to Charles and Hilda Loretta (Cox) Fesmire. He graduated from Rose Hill High School and attended Wichita Business College. He enlised in the United States Army and served during World War II. Mervin married Helen Lor (Tharp) Fesmire on September 16, 1940. Mervin worked as an accountant for Phillips Petroleum for thirty-five years and retired in 1982. In his younger years he liked to go fishing; he enjoyed gardening and had a "green thumb"; he enjoyed traveling with his wife; watching and feeding birds; and for years he volunteered at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville. He was a member of First Nazarene Church in Bartlesville where he was very active.
Mervin was preceded in death by his parents and his wife: Helen, on October 30, 2008.
He is survived by his daughter: Karmen Nafus and her husband, Gary of Glenpool; grandchildren: Sharal Dietzel of Dewey, OK; Dana Hayward (Ricky) of Glenpool; Mike Nafus of Joplin, MO; Sherry Green of Glenpool; nieces: Eloise Brown (Stanley) of Wichita, KS; Charlene Jacks (Gene) of Haviland, KS; eight great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren along with his special friends: Priscilla Brown, Summer Clingenpeel, Frank Green, Wanda Woodruff, Ed Morton and his daughter, Amber, Robert Williams, Infinity Hospice, Sterling House Staff along with other family members, friends and acquaintances.

Services are private at the convenience of the family.
