Melbert Jimmie Landers

Melbert J Landers was born to Melbert and Mary Etta Landers July 17 1943 in Decatur Illinois.


Mel worked as a QC/QA inspector for 43 yrs throughout the US and spent some time in Saudi Arabia. He was both Inspector and Auditor for nuclear power plants.


Mel also ministered the word of God and flowed in the gift of prophecy, and Praying for the sick. He was always ready to help those in need, spiritual or practical.


Mel is survived by his wife Audrey of 31 years. Mel has one sister Carol Kramer of Decatur Illinois His daughters Erica (Joe) Myscofski and Erin (Jack) Calloway of St Joseph Missouri. Three stepchildren Lynn Iron, Sheldon (Karis) Iron and Shawn (Hannah) Iron all of Broken Arrow Oklahoma. 14 grandchildren and Charley his best friend/dog.


One step son Harvey Iron proceeded him in death, also two grandchildren Crow Iron and Jane Iron.


Memorial service will be held at Rhema Bible Church Chapel, in Broken Arrow, OK on February 29, at 3 pm.
