Max D. McKaig, 88. passed away peacefully Friday, October 6, 2017 in his home in Broken Arrow with his family by his side.
Max was born on October 4, 1929 in Blackwell, OK. The son of Edna (Donham) and John McKaig.
Max served in the United States Navy from 1952 until 1956 during the Korean War. After being discharged, he attended Oklahoma State University Okmulgee Tech, receiving an associate's degree in electronics.
On March 28th, 1990, Max married Theresa Kowal in the Grand Cayman Islands.
He was employed by North American Rockwell for 19 years. Max then took a job with Conagra-Williams Company, as a Terminal Manager at the Port of Catoosa, from where he retired after 21 years.
Max is preceded in death by his parents, Edna (Donham) and John McKaig; and brother, Carl McKaig.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Terry McKaig; four sons, Kevin McKaig, Mark McKaig, Mitchel McKaig, and Chris Marinelli; and brother, Dannee McKaig.
There are no services scheduled.
