Mary Lucille Newman

Mary, 81, of Glenpool, OK graduated from this life and into the arms of her savior Friday, May 3rd, 2019. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8th at Calvary Temple Assembly of God in Tulsa, OK. A viewing will be held Tuesday, May 7th at Schaudt’s Funeral Service in Glenpool, OK from 5:00-8:00 p.m.

Mary was born on December 27, 1937, in New York City, New York to Frank and Ruth Howe. Her childhood years were spent in the pages of books giving her a love of literacy and a vocabulary that few could compete with even though we tried.

On September 16th, 1957, she married the love of her life, Ronald Newman, and that’s when the adventure began. Together, they had six children, Steve, Dan, Jeff, Rhonda, Catherine, and Tim. This brood added five-fold to the family with spouses, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and that doesn’t count the numerous “non-biological” kids/grandkids that called her Mom and Grandma.

Mary lived life to the fullest, loved Jesus, and taught us all to do the same.
