Martha Lavonne Carpenter

Martha Lavonne (Witt) Carpenter, 83, was born on April 1, 1935 in Mannford, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Cassie and James Witt.



Martha passed away on April 19, 2018 surrounded by her family. Martha is preceded in death by her parents, seven sisters and five brothers; two daughters, Vickie Carpenter and Pam Armstrong and son, John Carpenter.



She is survived by her husband, Bob of 65 years; brother, Donnie; daughter, Brenda (Mark) Watson; sons, Neal (Julie) Carpenter and Robert Carpenter; grandchildren, Brian McFarling, Brad Best, Sean Carpenter, Kelli McQuistion, Ashley Lowe, Chris Carpenter, Mindy Carpenter, Bobby Watson, Meaghan Young and Collin Carpenter. Also surviving: great-grandchildren, Hunter Best, Kayla McFarling, Khloe McFarling, Aaron Best, Hailey McQuistion, Mallory Carpenter, Hayden McQuistion, Oliver Carpenter, Keegan McQuistion, Carson Lowe and Abigail McFarling.



The family of Martha will celebrate her life and home going at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 25th, 2018 at Schaudt’s Tulsa Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, OK. A visitation will be held Tuesday, April 24, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with family and friends.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Martha to Asbury United Methodist Church, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
