Lloyd Madison Rose

Lloyd Madison Rose, a resident of Okmulgee, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2011 at the age of 71. He was born Tuesday, October 17, 1939 to Charlie and Alice Evelyn (Holland) Rose in Gilmer, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Alice Rose. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Rose of the home; son, Earnie Rose and wife, Carrie of Sapulpa; daughter, Tammy Christian of Tulsa; step-son, Lee Mathis and wife, Mary of Peabody, MA; sister, Rachael Rachael of Longview, TX; six grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 16, 2011 at the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee with Brother Jack Vance officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the Shurden-Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee.
