Linda Darlene Heinlein

Linda Darlene Heinlein was born on April 17th, 1941 in Sulphur, Oklahoma to her parents, Edward Francis Ross and Shirley Margaret Ross (Medlock).

Darlene passed from this life on July 20th, 2020 at her home in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Darlene met her husband and love of her life, Kurt Bauer Heinlein, in the winter of 1975 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They were married on October 22nd, 1976 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas.

Darlene worked in real estate and property management, where she enjoyed serving her neighbors and tenants for over 40 years.

Darlene’s love for art could be seen through her paintings and interior design. She could often be found outside working in her garden and landscaping.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Shirley Ross.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Kurt Heinlein of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her siblings, Tommie and Lee Smith of Fairview, Oregon, Yvonne Fisher of Oklahoma, and Keith Fisher of Oklahoma; cousins, Regina and Lee Stewart of Carthage, Missouri; children, Linda Mattison of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Janis and David Murawski of Corpus Christi, Texas, Debbie Jones of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Stefanie and CJ White of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Kris Neal, Nicholas Neal, Sarah Long, Nicco Figley, Kannon Figley, William White, and Benjamin White; great-grandchildren, Rowan, Jada, Rebecca, Aubrey, and Noah; and many other loving relatives and friends.

A Gathering/Time of Remembrance & Cel­ebration of Life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Schaudt Tulsa Funeral Service. Recep­tion immediately fol­lowing.
