Linda Ann Howerton

Linda Ann Howerton age 70 went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Linda was born on March 8, 1939 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Bob Waggoner and Vivian (Means) Waggoner. Linda attended Georgia Tech. She lived in Muskogee for many years before moving to Tulsa. She was a hard worker and worked for many establishments but most recently as a housekeeper. Linda enjoyed playing cards; going to garage sales and loved the computer. She had to go to the Tulsa State Fair every year just to get her "funnel cake". Linda also was an avid fan of Jeff Gordon and watched the NASCAR races on television. Linda was a wonderful caring and loving human being and a friend to many people. She will be greatly missed.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents: Bob and Vivian Waggoner; her son: Michael and a grandson: Robbie. She is survived by her three daughters: Debra Chandler and her husband, Jim; Patricia Stanfil, Barbara Morton and her husband, Jack Harding; an adopted daughter: Shelia Gaddis and her husband, Bill along with her son: Jess Frankie Maloney; her brother: David Waggoner and his wife, Gay; two nephews: Mark and Dean Waggoner of Georgia, her sister: Donna Waggoner of Georgia; along with her very special friend: Ann Avery of Muskogee. Linda had seven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
A celebration of Linda's life will be held Saturday, September 5th from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Tulsa Select Hotel, I44 and Yale Avenue, Tulsa, Oklahoma. You are welcome to bring a dish, beverage and your memories of "Linda".
