Leah Sue Potter

Public visitation will be held Sunday, 20th of December, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Schaudt's Glenpool Funeral Service Chapel.

Graveside services for Leah Potter will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020, at 2:30 PM at Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Leah Sue Potter, age 70, passed away on December 16, 2020. Leah was born in Colcord, Oklahoma to Joseph McIntosh and Mary McIntosh. She was the 5th of 7 brothers and sisters. Growing up she attended Springdale Elementary in Tulsa and graduated in 1968 from Central High School in Tulsa. She spent much of the summers growing up @ Tiger Mountain with her Aunt Lennie and Uncle Connie.

She got married in 1969 and had two kids; Brandon Potter (48) and Kristen Mclaughlin (46) The best day of her life was 12/18/03 when her first and only Grandchild Shawn entered her world. He was her whole world.

Leah loved any OU sporting event and taking trips to the Red River Shootout, OU/Texas game in Dallas. She would eat and breath anything Sooners. She also loved watching her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers and Atlanta Braves. She would always be attending any of her grandson's sporting events that she could. She enjoyed so many things, reading many different books by many different authors, attending Faith Church in Glenpool, she was part of the Club “Sooners for Christ” she loved listening to all her 60's music, to her no music was made past the 60's. Some of her favorite movies and shows were, anything on the I.D. Channel, Perry Mason, Big Bang Theory, The Godfather, Wizard of Oz, The Mummy and The Mummy Returns, and any John Wayne movies

She had a heart of gold and loved her family like nobody could. She lived for her kids and family. And of course if you knew our mom you knew She didn't like any teams that wore orange. She was the Greatest Mother and Grandmother Ever!!

Leah leaves behind many to cherish her memory, her children, Brandon Potter of Glenpool, OK, daughter Kristen Mclaughlin and husband Mac of Glenpool, OK, grandson Shawn Mclaughlin of Glenpool, OK, her siblings Jeanie Mullen and husband Danny of Glenpool, OK, Roberta Supernaw and husband Thomas of Glenpool, OK, John McIntosh and wife LaCretia of Kellyville, OK and Patsy McIntosh of Tulsa, OK. And many loved nieces, nephews, and cousins and friends.
