Larry Ray Neill

Larry Neill, age 63, passed away on Tuesday, September 10th, 2019 at 10:25 a.m. on his 49th day at Saint Francis hospital in Tulsa Oklahoma battling lung cancer and leukemia.

Larry was born in McAlester, Oklahoma to Eugene Neill and Cleta Parks on March 29th, 1956. He spent his early years in Haywood, Oklahoma, then his family moved to McAlester, Oklahoma the summer before his 10th grade year. He graduated from McAlester High School in 1974.

After graduation, he moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma and learned the profession of printing. He excelled in this industry and loved the creative aspect of being a pressman. During his career he worked for Miller Printing, Consolidated Printing Solutions, and Resource One.

Aside from work, Larry was passionate about OU football, rock & roll and the blues, the outdoors, and spending time with his family and his four legged friends. Larry loved giving hugs and he never met a stranger.

Larry is survived by his wife Tracy Brookshire Neill, his son Clinton Neill, his children by marriage Triston (Leslie) Norsworthy, Scott Norsworthy, Blake Norsworthy, and Brooke Housley; his grandchildren Jacob (Hayley) Norsworthy, Samantha Norsworthy, David Norsworthy, Colton Norsworthy, Ella Housley, Jesslyn Norsworthy, and Maddie Norsworthy; great-grandchildren Emmit Norsworthy, Leighton Norsworthy, and Brooklyn Norsworthy; his mother Cleta Neill, sister Tami (Dan) Grogan, brother Steve (Tracye) Neill, niece Katie Grogan, nephew Dustin Grogan, and many precious cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Larry is preceded in death by his father Eugene Neill, maternal grandparents Ray & Bonnie Parks, paternal grandparents Eugene & Bernice Neill, aunts Sue Tinker and Lou Nell Snell and Uncle Ray Parks Jr.

A private Celebration of Life will take place in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, September 21st, 2019.

A sincere thank you to family, friends, and hospital workers who prayed for Larry throughout his struggle with cancer. Your prayers were heard and he is at peace now.
