Kerry Michael Wilburn

On Monday, September 14, 2020, Kerry Michael Wilburn of Bixby, OK, devoted husband and loving father of two children, departed this world for heaven at age 54 with his family by his side.

Kerry was born on September 13, 1966, in Tulsa, OK to Johnny and Wanda (Kirk) Wilburn. He graduated from Memorial High School in Tulsa in 1985. On August 27, 1988, he married Angela Jo Staley. They resided in Tulsa, OK where they raised their two sons, Joshua and Dillon. Kerry was the Operations Manager for parking services at the Tulsa International Airport for the past 20 years.

The compass of Kerry’s heart and life was the steadfast love for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As an altruistic man of unwavering faith, Kerry was a rock of stability, mind of wisdom, voice of reason, compassionate shoulder, and heart of selfless love and generosity to all who knew him. In witness and demonstration of Christ, Kerry’s hand was always outstretched to lift up and help anyone in need. He lived a selfless life to benefit others, choosing to help those in need and reflect God’s love to all. When Kerry wasn’t working circles around everyone with his unmatchable work ethic, he was a life source of pure joy with his quick-witted, endearing humor, contagious laughter, and a gorgeous smile that lit up his beautiful eyes.

Kerry is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Wilburn. Kerry leaves many loving memories with his wife of 32 years, Angela Wilburn; son, Joshua Wilburn and wife Marilyn (Chau) Wilburn; son, Dillon Wilburn; grandchildren, Xander Wilburn and Norah Kate Wilburn; mother, Wanda Wilburn; siblings Cindy Terrell, Melinda Mahoney, Brian Wilburn, Lance Wilburn, and Grant Wilburn; father-in-law, Joe Staley; as well as eight brother-/sister-in-laws, several cousins, nephews, and nieces.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate Kerry’s life on Friday, September 25, 2020, at Schaudt’s Funeral Services (5757 S. Memorial Dr., Tulsa, OK 74145) at 10:00 AM.
