Kenneth "Kenny" Ray Pettit passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021, at the age of 72 years.

Kenny was born on November 30, 1948, in National City, CA to his parents, Emmitt Pettit and Helen Gregory. He graduated from Tulsa Central in 1966. Kenny was affectionately called "My Funny Little Man" by the love of his life, Anna Traut, who he met in 1996, while Kenneth worked as a Long-Haul Truck Driver for Swift Transportation, and married on June 9, 2020, in La Mesa, CA. Kenny enjoyed woodworking, making saddles, and water skiing, but his greatest joy was his family. Kenny devoted as much time to his family as he could, especially taking advantage of playtime with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Emmitt and Helen Pettit. his brother Daryl Lee Pettit, and brother-in-law Roy Allen Cates.

Kenny leaves many loving memories with his family, wife, Anna Pettit; daughter, Claudia Hoffman; son, Jeff Parker; grandchildren, Lawrence Jude Jr., Derick Koller, Brandyn Parker, Jasmine Parker and Devyn Parker; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Linda Cates; cousins, Bill and Kim Gregory, Mark Barbee; along with many other loving relatives and a host of friends.

Visiting hours will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.

The family has requested that all attendees please wear a face mask during the service.
