Karen Marlene Brown

Karen Marlene Brown, 63, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma passed away May 22, 2023, in Tulsa with her loving family by her side. Karen was born in Wichita, Kansas December 5, 1959, to Coy and Rosetta King.

Karen was a faithful Christian woman who spent much of her life teaching bible class to the younger kids, or creating attention-grabbing material for other teachers to use in their classrooms. She was generous kind, and loved her family dearly. Karen enjoyed creating arts and crafts, researching genealogy, and a good mystery novel, spooky ghost hunting shows, and any excuse to feed her grand puppy, Rey, chicken. She was a collector of dollhouse miniatures and all things related to Halloween.

Karen is survived by her loving husband, Randy; beloved children, Valerie Morgan and her husband Andrew Morgan and Michael Brown; Mother-in-law Jean Brown; sister, Sherry King, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ric Brown and Marilyn Brown; nieces and nephews, Amber Hunt and her husband Brian Hunt, Jeremy Stolp, Justin Pence and his wife Jennifer Pence, Jared Pence and his wife Cara Pence, and Joel Pence and his wife Kathleen Pence along with their families. 

Funeral services for Karen will be held 2:00pm, Friday, May 26, 2023 at the Glenpool Church of Christ, 12932 South Elwood Avenue, Glenpool, Oklahoma 74033. Viewing will take place prior to services at the church. Burial to follow at South Heights Cemetery in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
