Jonathan Loyd Swarer

January 10, 1980 — April 13, 2020

Jonathan Loyd Swarer, a resident of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed from this life on April 13, 2020.

Jonathan Swarer was born on January 10, 1980 and grew up in Coweta, Oklahoma. He graduated from Coweta High School in the class of 1998 where he met his wife, Lorinda Elizando whom he married in 2003. Jonathan was a devoted husband for 17 years, and a loving father to his 5 furry children Dixie, Buffy, Kiki, Jasper and Juanita.

Jonathan was a quiet, good natured man that was true to his word. He was known for being humble, honest, and had an exceptional work ethic. He was a talented, detail-oriented perfectionist, which lead him to become a successful business owner and a well-respected expert in the electrical field. He owned FireFly Electricians and grew it to be a trusted, well known company in just 5 short years. He had a strong rapport with his clients that blossomed into friendships. Many days, he would often return home from work with homemade baked goods from his customers.

Jonathan was a manly man who loved nature, welding, building things, troubleshooting, four wheeling, fishing, target shooting, paragliding, and exploring the world with his wife. He was a night owl that loved sleeping late (when he could), and had quite a sweet tooth. He truly enjoyed being the observer. He never wanted to be the center of attention and would choose tinkering in his shop over any other activities. Jonathan made an impact on so many people through his generosity and genuine need to take care of others. He is remembered for his integrity, his originality, his unexpected humor, and his unwavering character.

Those left to hold onto the wonderful memories of Jonathan include wife, Lorinda Elizando, sister Jennifer Swarer, niece Jaidyn Swarer, mother Joy (Lee) Miller, and step-father John Miller, father Johnny Swarer, mother-in-law Pat Elizando, sister-in-law Shawnda Elizando, his brother in law Marc Fantuzzi, his maternal grandparents Sammie and Lydia Lee, his paternal grandparents Jasper and Velma Swarer, and a large extended family.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.

Arrangements are entrusted to Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service & Cremation Care Centers. Family and friends may send memories and condolences to the family online, www.schaudtfuneralservice.com
