Johnny Wilburn

The funeral service for Johnny Wilburn will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service Chapel, 5757 S. Memorial Drive, Tulsa, Oklahoma, with pastor Brandon McCombs officiating.

Johnny Wilburn of Bixby, Oklahoma was born to parents Henry and Mary Wilburn on August 10, 1926, in Saspamco, Texas. He passed away in Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 26, 2020, at the age of 93.

He met the love of his life, Wanda Wilburn at The Cains Ballroom. They later married and had six children, Cynthia, Melinda, Bryan, Lance, Grant, and Kerry.

Johnny proudly served in the United States Army for four years and was an Army Police Officer. He attained his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and would go on to open a successful business named Wilburn Properties which has been in operation since the 1970's. Johnny was always one that wanted to provide for his family. The family time that was spent together was often done by watching football or boxing. He loved bowling and was a fan of many sports.

He is preceded in death by parents Henry and Mary Wilburn, step-father, Frank Mizumie and step-mother, Annie Wilburn. Siblings include, Will Maldonado, Henry Wilburn, Joe Wilburn, and Olga Gonzales.

Johnny leaves many loving memories with wife, Wanda Wilburn, brother, Ray Wilburn, children, Cynthia Terrell and husband Mark, Melinda Mahoney and husband Jack, Bryan Wilburn and wife Glenda, Lance Wilburn and wife Deloris, Grant Wilburn and wife Loralei, Kerry Wilburn and wife Angela. Grandchildren include, Bart and Justin Terrell, Frankie, Chance, and Preston Mahoney, Heather, Caleb, Grant Jr., Annalei Wilburn, Joshua and Dillon Wilburn as well as thirteen great-great grandchildren.

Services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday June 30, 2020 at Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service Chapel, 5757 S. Memorial Drive, Tulsa, Oklahoma, with pastor Brandon McCombs officiating.
