John Junior Eagle

John Junior Eagle, affectionately known as “THE HANDSOME ONE”, by his family, passed away November 7, 2018 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 69 years. He was born on September 3, 1949 in Winnebago, NE. He was adopted by, Gifford Knapp and Evelyn Knapp and named Randall Gifford Knapp.

John enjoyed playing the piano at his church Wekiwa Indian Baptist Church in Sand Springs, drawing landscape scenes w/colored pencils, fishing, enjoyed get-togethers, spending time with family members and his church family. He was a very social person, who never met a stranger. He worked as an Arborist.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gifford and Evelyn Knapp, brothers, Donny Knapp, Kenneth Knapp, Tommy Knapp and sister, Sue Ella Knapp.

John leaves many loving memories with his family, Wife, Glenda Knapp, daughters, Angie Knapp and Crystal Knapp, sons, Farren Knapp and Jonathan Knapp, and sister, Lynette Knapp; grandchildren, Chad Knapp, Shane Knapp, Jade Knapp, Jamel Knapp, Kashani Knapp, Jasmine Knapp, Taylor Prox, Bayleigh Knapp, Brayden Knapp, Chayden Knapp, Kaiden Knapp, and great-grandchildren Alexzander Coluci, and Izabella Coluci; best friend, Jon Wisdom; friends, William Mace, Jessica Nelson, Ileisa Nelson, Katie Nelson, as well as many other loving relatives and a host of friends.

Memorial Service celebrating John’s life will be held 1:00 pm on Friday, November 16, 2018 at Wekiwa Indian Baptist Church,16940 W. Wekiwa Rd., Sand Springs, Oklahoma 74063 with Pastor J.R. Wisdom officiating.
