Jimmy passed away peacefully from this life on the evening of January 6th in Tulsa, OK after a sudden decline in health. He was surrounded and supported by his loving family during the last days of his life. Jimmy was born to Susie Leona (Garsee) and James Burton on August 7th, 1944 in Monroe, LA. Jimmy attended high school in Sand Springs, OK and worked in construction traveling for work from state to state. He met and married his wife Leticia in Houston, TX and later settled in Glenpool, OK in 2003. At a young age, he developed a passion for the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, and camping. In his leisure, he enjoyed spending time at home watching westerns, fixing broken things, and riding his motorcycle.

He is survived by his wife, Leticia (Gutierrez) of Glenpool, OK, and children Zandra and her husband, Johnny Vance Jr. of Burleson, TX, Christopher and his wife Barbara of Humble, TX, and Stephanie of Houston, TX, and his sisters Sue and her husband Evert Dentis of Jenks, OK, Kathie and her husband Michael Boyce of Hagerstown MD, Cheri and her husband Steve Davis of Wagoner, OK, four grandchildren, one great grandchild.

In addition to his mother, Susie Leona (Garsee) Macomber and father, James B. Allen, he was predeceased by his brother Donnie.

Jimmy was a kind and gentle soul who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd, 2020 at 11 o’clock in the morning. The service will be held at Schaudt’s Tulsa Funeral Service on 5757 S. Memorial Drive Tulsa, OK 74145
