Jimmie Glen Montezuma, age 66 passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Mr. Montezuma was born August 28, 1940 in Mena, Arkansas to James Montezuma and Melba (Lacasse) Montezuma. He attended Colton High School located in Colton, California.
He met the love of his life, Donna Adkins and they were married July 16, 1967 in Loma Linda, California. Mr. Montezuma worked at DeQueen General Hospital in DeQueen, Arkansas as a respiratory therapist technician.
Jimmie Montezuma moved to Glenpool coming from Sapulpa approximately twelve years ago. He is a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Jimmie Glen Montezuma liked to fish and loved to do beadwork and crafts in his spare time.
Jimmie was preceded in death by two sons; Jerry and Joey, and his parents.
He is survived by his wife: Donna Montezuma of Glenpool, Oklahoma; two sons: Jimmie Dale Montezuma of Riverside, California, Brandon Montezuma and his wife, Melissa of Kellyville, Oklahoma; four daughters: Cheryllyn Kellum and her husband James of St. Charles, Arkansas; Elisa Burke and her companion Kelly Caldwell of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; Leah Coomer and her husband, Dewayne of Glenpool, Oklahoma; Regina Chanley and her companion Jason Madewell of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one brother: Tommy Montezuma and his wife, Mary of Grandview, Indiana; two sisters: Delores Anguiano of Barsto, California, Debbie Cannon of Stilwell, Oklahoma along with twenty-two grandchildren and 3 great granchildren.
A private family services will be held at a later date.
