Jerry E. Thompson

Jerry Eugene Thompson, age 60 passed away Thursday, November 23, 2006 at his residence in Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
Mr. Thompson was born in Joplin, Missouri on October 17, 1946 to Lorene Trowbridge. He joined the United States Army October 31, 1963 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mr. Thompson married Joann Smith December 25, 1964 and they resided in Sand Springs for the past twenty years. He worked as a plumber for Tulsa Public Schools.
Jerry Thompson's hobbies included fishing, hunting, bowling and camping.
Mr. Thompson is survived by his wife, Joann Thompson of Sand Springs, son: Jerry Thompson and his wife, Susan of Sand Springs, daughter: Anita Adkins and her husband, Danny of Tulsa, brothers: Jimmy Thompson of Coweta, Ronnie Lord of Osage, Donnie Lord of Coweta, Mike Wilkins of Prue, Phillip Lord of Tulsa, Johnny Lord of Broken Arrow,Terry Lord of Oologah, three sisters: Velvet Ermis of Sand Springs, Ella Lanham of Tulsa, Pam Shanks of Owasso along with five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
