Jerry Dean Neeley

Jerry Neeley, Tulsa resident, passed away Friday, August 24, 2018, at the age of 77 years old, with his family by his side.

He was born on December 31, 1940 in Albuquerque, NM to his parents, Thomas and Lavada Neeley.

He met the love of his life, Linda Neeley, and they were married on November 30, 1968 in Tulsa, OK, and would have celebrated 50 wonderful years of marriage this year. He worked as a Barber/Men's Hair Stylist for many years in the Tulsa area.

Jerry was an avid weightlifter in his younger years. He even won the title of Mr. Oklahoma in a weightlifting competition. He enjoyed watching the Science Fiction channel, the History channel, as well as National Geographic. He took pride in his lawn and enjoyed having a nice yard. Jerry and his family traveled from coast to coast on vacations, visiting numerous states along the way.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Lavada Neeley; brothers, Marion, Doug, Ronnie, Terry, and Larry; sisters, Mildred and Gale.

He leaves many loving memories with his wife, Linda Neeley; son, Zack Neeley and wife Sherna; and grandson, Ezekiel Neeley; brothers, Dalton Neeley, Weldon Neeley, Kerry Neeley; sisters, Dorothy Bailey, Rita Rist, and Carol Lovins. As well as many nieces, nephews, and numerous other loving family members and a host of friends.

Friends are invited to gather, spend time and visit with the family from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm Wednesday August 29, 2018 at Schaudt Tulsa Funeral Service, 5757 S. Memorial, Tulsa.
