Jenny Belinda Cummings

Jenny Cummings, age 73, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at Montereau.

Jenny is survived by her husband Dwight Cummings, daughters Kelli Northcutt and husband Jeff of Ponca City and Elizabeth Hays of Tulsa, sons Chris Cummings of Lafayette, Colorado and Caleb Cummings and wife Heidi of Tulsa. One of her greatest joys was being Mimi to her grandchildren: Jackson Northcutt, Jenna Northcutt, Aidan Cummings, Chloe Cummings, Olivia Cummings, and Adeline Cummings. Jenny is also survived by her brother Jeff Gwyn and wife Pam of College Station, Texas.
Funeral Services will be held 10 AM, Saturday August 27, 2022 at Faith United Methodist Church with Pastor Heather Scherer officiating. Interment will be a private graveside ceremony near Branson, Missouri.

Jenny was born on May 16, 1949, in Memphis, Tennessee to Joseph and Ruth Gwyn. Jenny grew up in Wilson, Arkansas, and graduated with honors from Wilson High School in 1967. She then went on to attend the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She graduated with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Speech Pathology. She worked as a speech pathologist until she retired in 2012.

Jenny was a longtime member of Faith United Methodist Church. She sang for many years in the choir and was in the Special Angel Ministry. She enjoyed playing bunco with friends from the church for numerous years.

Jenny kept a daily journal for years and in these journal entries it is evident how much she loved Dwight and all her children and grandchildren and prayed for them daily. She was the perfect wife and best mother and grandmother.
Jenny was an incredible person and all the lives she touched in this world are better off because of her.
